Alexander launched Showdown in early 2017 with his co-founders Pascal Manchon and Thierry Teyssier. Realizing that studios were interested in the video editing automation technology found in the consumer space, the team built the first event-driven content engine for game developers. Alexander has fifteen years of experience as an entrepreneur and technology consultant. He's founded and managed multiple companies in the mobile technology and virtual reality spaces. In 2011 he led the successful exit of Kamayo, a mobile agency dedicated to creating rich media mobile and vertical mobile products that he co-founded in 2010. At Showdown he leads vision and strategy. Alexander's favorite game is Prince of Persia, which he played on his Amstrad CPC 6128.
Chief Technology Officer & Co-Founder
Pascal's experience ranges from leading massive projects for top-tier telecommunications operators to launching internet startups. He has a long track of successful delivery management both in large-scale and fast-paced agile projects with strong availability and scalability requirements. As part of the enterprise PMO team at Capgemini he worked on the creation of a new billing system for a tier one telecommunications company, a project which lasted three years and required two hundred and twenty developers. At Showdown he's responsible for all things tech-related and making sure the team achieves the product vision while championing a fun work atmosphere. His all-time favorite game is Day of the Tentacle.
Product Manager & Co-Founder
Thierry joined Alexander and Pascal after ten years as head of product design at auFemenin Group, the top publisher of women’s websites worldwide. He was responsible for the creation of all mobile and tablet applications for auFememin Group and Marmiton during his tenure. Thierry’s talents range from user experience design to audio engineering. At Showdown he’s in charge of offering the best product experience possible. As for games, Thierry loves the Oddworld series.
